In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, we realize the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at The Town and Country Senior Living, we understand to achieve this culture, employees must trust their workplace.
Each August, Town and Country participates in the Great Place to Work Survey. This is a time where staff can be open and honest about their feedback. The data is collected by a third party, so it truly is anonymous. It is so important for us to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly to know what we can work on to truly make our community a great place to work.
As the Business Office Director, promoting employee appreciation is a key part of my role. We consistently take time to recognize our hard-working team members. For instance, we recently celebrated “Don’t Step on a Bee Day” by having employees wear yellow and our Resident Services Director dressed up as a bee! We also enjoyed Bee-utiful Vanilla Honey French Toast as part of the celebration.
We believe when done right, making work a fun place creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
